This commercial, execution-oriented role requires strong industry relationships and a detailed understanding of Lynd’s sites, investigators, therapeutic capabilities, patient populations, enrollment capacity, and operational readiness.

The Director will report to the CEO and work closely with the Senior Director of Business Development and leaders across Clinical Operations, Patient Recruitment, Marketing, Technology, and site operations.

* Partner with investigators and cross-functional leaders to assess enrollment, staffing, capacity, complexity, and study fit.

* Develop enrollment projections and accurate feasibility responses.

* Coordinate Pre-Study Visits and Site Qualification Visits.

* Support capabilities meetings, site qualification discussions, and study-award presentations.

* Track feasibility, PSV, award, and conversion metrics.

Pipeline and Forecasting

* Maintain the company-wide business development pipeline, including sponsor, CRO, therapeutic area, study, site, stage, probability, enrollment, revenue, next steps, and ownership.

* Support pipeline reviews, prioritization, follow-up, forecasting, and network planning with the CEO and Senior Director of Business Development.

* Participate in regular reviews with executive and functional leaders.

* Monitor study starts, sponsor pipelines, protocol releases, and therapeutic-area trends.

* Identify portfolio gaps and pursue opportunities that improve investigator utilization, site capacity, and network revenue.

Conferences and Industry Engagement

* Support the CEO and Senior Director of Business Development in developing Lynd’s conference strategy.

* Identify priority sponsors, CROs, and decision-makers.

* Schedule and conduct targeted business development meetings.

* Partner with Marketing on conference messaging, materials, presentations, and follow-up.

* Convert conference relationships into study opportunities through consistent follow-up.

Qualifications

* 5+ years of business development, sales, strategic partnerships, or clinical operations experience in clinical research, with direct experience working with clinical research sites or site networks.

* Direct experience with pharmaceutical sponsors, biotechnology companies, CROs, SMOs, or clinical research sites strongly preferred.

* Understanding of clinical trial site selection, including feasibility questionnaires, site qualification, pre-study visits, and study awards.

* Existing pharmaceutical sponsor and CRO relationships strongly preferred.

* Knowledge of clinical trial operations and site-selection criteria.

* Experience managing a business development pipeline, CRM, forecasts, and conversion metrics.

* Ability to interpret protocol requirements and assess investigator, patient population, and site fit.

* Strong commercial judgment and ability to balance revenue opportunity with operational feasibility.

* Excellent relationship-building, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

* Highly organized, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple concurrent opportunities.

* Willingness to travel regularly for sponsor and CRO meetings, industry conferences, and Lynd site visits.
