About Vinesight

Vinesight is a narrative intelligence platform that helps organizations understand and respond to emerging narratives before they escalate. We monitor 14+ platforms in 50+ languages, serving Fortune 500 enterprises, government agencies, and strategic institutions. Our clients use Vinesight to progress from reactive damage control to proactive narrative strategy.

Vinesight operates where data meets influence. Working alongside a focused team, you'll contribute to how clients understand narratives as they form — turning complex data into clarity in environments where context and judgment matter.

About the Role

We are looking for a mid-level, self-directed professional to join our team as a Remote Data Analyst. This role sits at the intersection of research, data analysis, and client engagement. You will serve as part of a team dedicated to a wide variety of our clients, delivering tailored insights, presenting key narrative analyses, and building lasting relationships.

The ideal candidate is analytically rigorous, naturally client-centric, and comfortable in using their curiosity to find the optimal methods of making large amounts of data accessible to the end-user. Your skills in translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for a range of audiences will play an essential role in your day-to-day at the company. We're looking for someone who manages their work independently, communicates proactively, and thrives in a dynamic, remote-first environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Interaction & Relationship Management

  • Deliver clear, confident presentations and respond confidently to client questions, in casual check-in meetings or high-pressure formal settings.
  • Provide training or demonstrations on tools, processes, or insights when needed, adapting your approach for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Identify opportunities to deepen client value by understanding clients' evolving priorities, anticipating their needs, and proposing innovative solutions proactively.
  • Ensure high client satisfaction by delivering results consistently aligned with client objectives — maintaining meticulous records of preferences, past reporting, and open requests to ensure continuity and institutional knowledge.

2. Intelligence & Strategic Insights Reporting

  • Produce consistent, high-quality weekly reports and ad hoc intelligence briefs tailored to each client's specific focus areas and threat landscape.
  • Use Vinesight's AI-powered tools to collect, analyze, and synthesize social media data into clear, actionable narratives — connecting data patterns to geopolitical context proactively, without waiting to be asked.
  • Translate complex data and emerging trends into concise, meaningful intelligence products; balance granular attention to detail with the ability to zoom out and present big-picture strategic implications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify trends and opportunities that benefit clients, developing and communicating recommendations adapted for both technical and non-technical audiences.

3. Data Analysis, Quality & Product Monitoring

  • Monitor Vinesight's product dashboards on an ongoing basis — proactively identifying emerging signals, anomalies, and high-value analytical opportunities before clients surface them.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative narrative analysis: assess the reach, sentiment, framing, and trajectory of narratives across platforms, translating raw platform data into structured intelligence.
  • Uphold rigorous data integrity and analytical quality standards — verifying source reliability, flagging inconsistencies, and ensuring every output accurately reflects the underlying data.
  • Maintain a high bar for output quality across all deliverables, treating every report as a reflection of Vinesight's analytical credibility and institutional expertise.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in a client-facing analytical, intelligence, or strategic advisory role.
  • Familiarity with OSINT methodologies, social media intelligence, or narrative monitoring.
  • Skilled in AI data analysis tools, creating AI-driven automations, or general AI tool literacy.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; able to present findings clearly and confidently to senior and politically sophisticated audiences; high level of discretion and professionalism.
  • Comfortable navigating geopolitical topics and high-stakes institutional environments; understands context, nuance, and the appropriate register for different audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large amounts of information into concise, meaningful intelligence reports and to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership, manage priorities independently, and deliver results in a remote work environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a creative, outside-the-box mindset.
  • Proven time management skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent deliverables under deadline pressure.
  • Able to work independently while also excelling and enjoying collaboration with a distributed team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in political science, international relations, security studies, journalism, or a related field.
  • Additional language skills in addition to English are a plus.
  • Experience in report writing for public-office or executive audiences (e.g., intelligence memos, briefing documents, situation reports).
  • Familiarity with SQL or other data tools is an advantage.
