Position Overview:
TCARE is seeking a skilled and motivated Business Development Analyst to support our growth in the Government, Employer, and Professional Markets. This role will involve in-depth market research, sales process analysis, and the development of strategic insights. The Business Development Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop market strategies, create sales campaigns, and guide opportunities through the pre-sales process. This position is based in St. Louis, MO, and will report to the SVP, Growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Market & Industry Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research into healthcare subsectors, including analyzing publicly available data on contracts, competitors, renewal timelines, and trends. Focus on segments such as Medicare Advantage, state child welfare, intellectual and developmental disabilities programs, and professional caregiver support.
• Product and Pricing Strategy: Work with TCARE’s data science and clinical teams to understand the market needs and develop product and pricing strategies that align with each segment’s ROI potential.
• Sales Process & Campaign Development: Collaborate with TCARE’s marketing team to create and execute sales campaigns designed to generate qualified leads and new opportunities. Guide potential opportunities through the pre-sales pipeline, assisting in the transition to sales with the executive team’s support.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Provide in-depth data analysis and reporting to support market strategies and sales efforts. Contribute to quantitative insights that help shape the sales process, optimize outreach, and identify key areas of opportunity.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Client Success, to ensure smooth coordination across the sales and pre-sales processes.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience: Experience in the healthcare sector, preferably in roles related to market research, business analysis, or sales strategy development.
• Skills: Strong proficiency in data analysis, project management, and sales campaign execution. Familiarity with healthcare contracts, reimbursement models, and industry dynamics. Excellent communication skills to support internal collaboration and client-facing interactions.
• Certifications: Project management or data analysis certifications (e.g., PMP, CAPM) are beneficial but not required.
Reporting Structure:
The Business Development Analyst will report to TCARE’s SVP, Growth and work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Product.
Success Metrics:
• Market Research & Insights: Success will be measured by the quality and depth of market research, providing actionable insights that guide sales and business development efforts.
• Campaign Effectiveness: Evaluate the success of marketing and sales campaigns by tracking metrics such as lead generation and opportunities created.
• Sales Process Efficiency: Contribute to optimizing the sales pipeline by identifying bottlenecks, improving outreach strategies, and assisting in the transition from pre-sales to full client engagement.
Location and Travel:
This role is in-office at TCARE’s headquarters in St. Louis, MO. Occasional travel may be required to support client engagements and market campaigns.
