About The Role

We are looking for a proactive, personable, and experienced Provider Relationship Director to strengthen and expand our practice and provider relationships. The Provider Relationship Director will be responsible for developing and strengthening relationships with our existing primary care partners to increase patient referrals. This role requires a combination of healthcare knowledge, sales acumen, and excellent communication skills to effectively position our solution as the preferred choice for our partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Relationship Building: Develop trust-based relationships with PCPs, clinic staff, and administrative teams.
  • Outreach & Engagement: Identify high-potential PCP offices and create targeted engagement plans. Conduct regular on-site visits and virtual meetings to stay connected, provide updates, and address concerns.
  • Referral Growth Strategy: Collaborate with internal teams to create and execute measurable strategies that increase referral volumes and expand provider networks. Gather feedback from providers about referral barriers and develop solutions to address them. Consistently grow net new referral volume from baseline monthly/quarterly.
  • Data & Reporting: Track referral trends, by provider and practice, analyze trends, and report on growth and engagement activities.
  • Feedback Loop: Gather input from referring providers to continuously improve the referral process and patient experience.
  • Educational Programs: Create and deliver presentations, webinars, and other materials that highlight patient benefits and clinical outcomes.
  • Compliance & Ethics: Maintain high ethical standards focusing on genuine patient benefits rather than financial inducements.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field.
  • Experience: 7-10 years in healthcare sales, provider relations, account management, or business development (telehealth experience is a plus).
  • Skills & Abilities
  • Interpersonal & Communication: Exceptional listening and relationship-building skills; able to communicate effectively with clinical and administrative staff.
  • Presentation & Education: Comfortable creating and delivering presentations (in-person or virtual).
  • Analytical Mindset: Proficiency with CRM tools and basic data analysis to track and optimize referral metrics.
  • Organizational & Multitasking: Capable of managing multiple provider accounts, scheduling site visits, and following up consistently.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to identify growth opportunities and create tailored outreach initiatives for different provider segments.
