Swap Health is looking for an accomplished, strategic, goal-oriented and execution-driven sales leader to own revenue. This role will help drive the growth and shape the future of an emerging service that will have a significant impact on healthcare outcomes for millions of underserved patients.

The Opportunity

Swap Health helps low and moderate income individuals prevent, manage, and treat chronic conditions through greater access to healthy food and population-specific health and nutrition education. Swap works with health systems and hospitals to offer dietitians and affordable healthy food directly to patients who otherwise would not have access.

You’ll report directly to the CEO and be directly responsible for establishing and leading a team that’s developing, defining, negotiating, and closing key target customer deals with hospitals and health systems. The ideal candidate is a proven producer who has performed at the highest levels in fast-paced, high-growth environments. You’ll help shape our long-term strategy by refining our playbook for market growth. This is the opportunity to join a rocketship start-up at its inflection point. What you’ll do

  • Be directly responsible for closing new health system accounts and rapidly developing a sales team that will own new business development and account management
  • Lead by example, mentor, develop, and manage a team of passionate, successful, and driven sales executives to meet and exceed our company goals by employing effective sales strategies and techniques.
  • Maintain a robust sales development pipeline.
  • Provide key sales leadership focusing on new logo sales.
  • Coach and assist your team in negotiating pricing and contractual agreements to close sales.
  • Manage sales objectives through detailed and accurate forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and planning activities.
  • Run regular sales meetings and proactively identify and develop growth opportunities in each assigned territory.
  • Coach and assist your team to prospect for new opportunities outside of the existing client base.
  • Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the product/service.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual deal/revenue targets.
  • Help shape the sales playbook.
  • Work cross-function to build sales tools and adapt approaches with target customers as new objections arise.

About you

  • You have a track record of successfully selling into health systems
  • You’re a collaborative leader and work well across teams, levels, and functions.
  • You’re passionate about leading, coaching, and developing sales teams and you’ve demonstrated success leading sales teams to exceed expectations.
  • You possess a strong understanding of the key performance metrics that drive sales success.
  • You understand what motivates customers to buy and know how to coach your team to tap into those needs and desires in an effective way.
  • You have a minimum of 10 years of experience selling to health systems with a consistent track record of exceeding quota
  • You possess a background in building sales strategy and process in a hyper growth or start up organization with an emphasis on building a successful sales organization from the ground up.
  • You have a successful track record of crafting and participating in sales pitches and audits.
  • You have the ability to travel throughout the US as needed.
  • You possess the ability to drive collaborative sales cycles that involve experimentation and best practice development.
  • You have expertise in positioning and selling services into new customers and markets.
  • You're an ambitious, tenacious, high energy individual with experience in fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial environments.
  • You have the ability to learn new markets and stay current with market trends.
  • You have successful experience in prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals in healthcare.
  • You have complete comfort in communicating and presenting to customers and senior leadership.
  • You're a strategic thinker with the ability to communicate and execute a strategy consistent with client needs.
  • You possess incredibly strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • You have a deep interest in healthcare.
  • You have a great sense of humor.
  • You have a willingness to learn and teach, and you genuinely enjoy a team environment.
