IT Lead

As an IT Lead, you will contribute to our secure cloud operations and information technology systems and processes. You will help administer and secure our existing and evolving cloud infrastructure, including our big data systems while ensuring compliance with information and data security objectives and requirements.
We seek a sharp, highly motivated Cloud Operations Specialist to support our organization in delivering business-to-government income verification and fund-distribution solutions. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-focused culture.
You will be responsible for:
- Manage and support day-to-day IT systems operations
- Provide technical support to multiple teams
- Troubleshoot, address, and resolve IT-related problems, including hardware, software, and network issue diagnosis
- Administer operations of and access to critical systems, including Google Workspace, AWS, and more.
- Monitor and maintain IT systems’ performance, security, and availability
- Interact with DevOps, SRE, data, QA, and application engineering teams to ensure high-quality, secure product delivery
- Support compliance-related activities, including certification and ongoing monitoring
- Implement and enforce information and data security policies and protocols
- Help select and coordinate with vendors and service providers
- Keep management informed of platform enhancement ideas, risks, and issues
Skills & Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years in IT roles, preferably with 3+ years of experience at companies with substantial compliance requirements (e.g., SOC 2 Type 2, HIPAA, or similar)
- Hands-on experience in Google Workspace Administration and AWS cloud services, e.g., provisioning IAM, S3, etc.
- Preferred: AWS Cloud Practitioner or higher-level certification
- Strong plus: direct work experience with an MDM tool, like JumpCloud, Intune, etc.
- Strong plus: direct work experience with a GRC tool, like Drata, Vanta, etc., supporting compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, HITRUST, ISO, NIST, FedRAMP, etc.
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Detail-oriented and patient
- Must be reliable and have good initiative
- Passionate and curious about technology
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with different parts of the organization and with distributed teams across multiple offices and timezones
Total Compensation Package
- The base salary range for this position is $115,000 - $140,000.
- This position is eligible for equity.
