Summary

Joining SteadyIQ’s QA team as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for end to end testing of our Income Passport application and its supporting services. You will accomplish this by creating and executing comprehensive manual test plans for our web applications, APIs, and data pipelines. This will be an exempt position.

What you’ll do

• Work closely with product, design, data, and engineering teams to understand project goals, gather requirements, troubleshoot issues and develop repeatable testing practices
• Work alongside our QA Automation Engineers to identify opportunities for test automation across data pipelines and services
• Contribute to documentation and processes to support manual testing
• Ensure features are developed to specs provided by product and design teams
• Help the team stay ahead of any blockers by identifying gaps in requirements and risks to user experience
• Engage in thoughtful cross-functional collaboration to go beyond traditional QA expectations
• Take ownership of features and projects from start to finish ensuring timely delivery of a high quality product

What you need

• 5+ years as a QA Engineer or similar role
• Experience in web application, API, and Database testing
• Experience working with data-rich applications, testing data processing and data enrichment functionalities
• Experience verifying data models, algorithms, and pipelines in isolation and as part of downstream applications
• Ability to create and maintain manual test suites
• Effective time management skills to meet deadlines and support team commitments
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant experience
• Bonus Experience: Testing and working with AWS services such as SQS, SNS, EventBridge, S3, Lambda, and CloudWatch in addition to Jenkins and Datadog

Total Compensation Package

• The base salary range for this position is $95,000 - $125,000.
• This position is eligible for equity.
