About Ranger AI

Ranger AI is a venture-backed intelligence platform helping the world reindustrialize through digital and AI transformation.

Backed by Bonfire Ventures, Inovia Capital, 25Madison, and Panache Ventures, Ranger builds enterprise AI systems for complex industrial workflows. Our platform helps manufacturers, engineering companies, and other large enterprises transform document-heavy processes such as tendering, RFPs, proposals, quotations, and engineering workflows through AI agents and intelligent automation.

The Role

Our enterprise customers usually have several connected problems across different teams, systems, and workflows. Your job is to understand how those pieces fit together, design the right solution, and turn it into a clear plan our engineers can build. You will lead technical discovery, define the workflow, integrations, requirements, and success criteria, and stay involved through delivery to make sure the solution actually works for the customer. The Account Executive owns the commercial relationship. The Forward Deployed Engineer builds. The Technical Account Manager drives onboarding and adoption. You own the solution design and technical outcome.

How This Role Is Measured

  • POC conversion.

Do the POCs you design convert into production deployments?

  • Solution outcomes.

Does what we build produce the business outcome the customer bought it for, measured after go-live rather than at signature?

  • Delivery.

Do technical deliverables land on time, against the agreed specification and acceptance criteria?

What You Will Do

  • Lead technical and POC discovery once the Account Executive has identified the use cases in play.
  • Design a unified solution across those use cases: how workflows connect, where handoffs occur, what systems are involved, and what changes for the customer’s team when the solution goes live.
  • Own the specification the FDE team builds against, including workflow design, data requirements, integration approach, success criteria, and acceptance criteria.
  • Produce the scoping document for every engagement, including effort, dependencies, risks, milestones, and delivery assumptions.
  • Build the technical champion inside the account and equip them to explain and defend the solution internally.
  • Project-manage technical deliverables through delivery, maintaining the timeline and surfacing constraints early.
  • Map customer requirements to platform capability: what is reusable, what should remain custom, and what should become part of the core product.
  • Establish specification frameworks, implementation patterns, and solution architectures that make every subsequent deployment faster and better.
  • Feed recurring customer requirements directly into product and engineering strategy.

What We Are Looking For

Enterprise solution experience or Product Management experience for enterprise level software.

  • Enterprise deployments you personally owned. You have taken customers from technical discovery through specification, delivery, and adoption, with clear stakeholders and measurable outcomes.
  • Solution design over implementation. You can look at an operational problem, determine what should exist, and judge whether what gets built will actually produce the intended outcome.
  • Documentation engineers can execute against. Your specifications and scoping documents are concrete enough for an engineering team to build from directly.
  • Industrial domain empathy. Direct experience in industrial, energy, oil and gas, petrochemical, engineering, or precision manufacturing environments.
  • Comfort with a product that is still forming. You have designed solutions on top of a platform evolving underneath you and know how to use that as an advantage.
  • The ability to impose structure on ambiguity. You have walked into unclear customer situations, identified the real problem, and given it shape.
  • AI fluency in your daily workflow. You actively use tools such as Claude, Cursor, or similar AI systems to increase your own throughput.
  • Strong alongside sellers. You understand enterprise deal progression and know how to use technical work to move an opportunity forward with an AE.

Nice to Have

  • Direct experience with industrial tendering, RFP, RFQ, quotation, estimating, or bid-management workflows.
  • A background in product management, or experience running a structured product feedback loop from the field.
  • Experience at a company early enough that you had to build the solutions process rather than inherit it.
  • Experience working with APIs, enterprise integrations, data architectures, or AI/ML systems.
  • Experience operating across multiple stakeholders, business units, or geographies within the same enterprise account.

What We Offer

This is a Canada-based, full-time permanent position, with Remote / Hybrid options available.

  • Base Salary: CAD 160,000–180,000, depending on experience and impact.
  • Benefits: Extended health benefits.
  • Work directly with major enterprise customers deploying advanced AI into production.
  • Significant ownership over customer solutions and Ranger’s Forward Deployed Engineering practice.
  • Help define how AI is deployed across some of the world’s most complex industrial workflows.
