About Ranger

Ranger delivers AI solutions as a service to industrial companies. We take on the high-stakes technical and commercial work that decides deals: reading an incoming tender and breaking down every requirement, redlining an agreement against your standard positions, comparing competing supplier bids and recommending one, drafting responses grounded in how you have answered before. Real work, owned end to end, inside a bounded and reviewable process with a human on the output.

Our customers are industrial: oil and gas, pharma, chemical, water, precision manufacturing. The work we take on decides whether a pump manufacturer wins a tender, or loses three weeks of engineering time finding out they never should have bid. Tender cycles that ran 12 to 24 weeks run 3 to 4 with Ranger in place.

We operate across North America, the GCC, and EMEA, backed by top tier venture investors.

The Role

Enterprise software rarely fails at the build. It fails after go-live, when a customer signs, logs in a few times, and drifts back to the way they worked before. Someone has to own the other outcome: that Ranger becomes how the customer works, that they get the result they paid for, and that they renew and grow.

That is this role. The account executive owns the deal. The solutions architect designs it. The forward deployed engineers build it. You own everything after go-live: adoption, account health, and the relationship that carries a customer from first login to renewal.

You are in the room from evaluation onward, so when the deal closes there is no handoff. You already hold the relationship, the onboarding plan, and the weekly cadence. You get customers onto real work fast, you see problems before they surface them, and you are the one person they come to. Getting five people live is the easy part. Making Ranger stick across the next fifty is the job.

Where you sit

The AE owns the deal and the commercial relationship. The solutions architect owns the solution design. The forward deployed engineers build. You own the customer after go-live, whether they adopt, stay healthy, and grow. The account is the AE’s. Its success is yours.

How this role is measured

Time to value. Did the customer reach real, adopted use inside 90 days.

Adoption depth. Is Ranger in the daily workflow, not sitting on a shelf.

Retention. Do your accounts renew, and is first-year churn zero.

Expansion signal. Do you surface the opportunities the AE turns into expansion.

What You Will Do

• Own onboarding end to end: the plan, the timeline, the weekly cadence, and the push to get customers on real workflows inside 90 days

• Diagnose and resolve what comes in, sorting a feature gap from a user-behavior issue from an adoption problem, then handling it or routing it

• Be the customer’s one point of contact after go-live: success, technical account management, and frontline support in a single person

• Validate AI outputs against customer data and make the call on whether a deployment is ready to put in front of them

• Train customer teams to run Ranger with confidence, taught from the fluency you built using it yourself

• Track account health and drive adoption toward the thresholds that predict renewal

• Surface expansion opportunities as they mature and build the case with the AE

• Keep each account’s status current across the CRM, Confluence, and Slack so the team can see where it stands

• Turn what you learn on the ground into product feedback the FDE team can act on

• Build the onboarding playbook as you go, so the next account is faster than the last

What We Are Looking For

Post-sale ownership of enterprise SaaS or AI, ideally run with industrial customers. If you have carried enterprise accounts from onboarding through adoption and renewal, in a technically deep product with a demanding buyer, we should talk.

• Enterprise accounts you personally owned after the sale, through onboarding, adoption, and renewal, with named stakeholders and named outcomes

Industrial-customer experience. You have run this motion with industrial buyers, oil and gas, pharma, chemical, EPC, and you earn a technical, high-stakes buyer’s trust fast. This is the

background we weight most heavily.

High agency. You walk into an unclear account, form a point of view, and drive it.

AI fluency with judgment. You use AI daily to raise your throughput, and you hold every output to a high bar before it leaves your hands.

Comfortable in a modern work stack. You use AI in your everyday work and are hands-on (or quick to get hands-on) with tools like Jira and HubSpot.

Writing an executive acts on. Your recaps and customer emails are clear, precise, and complete, so people move on them without a second pass.

A detail instinct. You catch what others miss and take pride in what you send.

Structure imposed on ambiguity. You have walked into unclear situations and given them shape.

Strong alongside sellers. You understand deal progression and move expansion forward with an AE.

Nice To Have

• Direct experience with industrial tendering, RFP, RFQ, or bid workflows

• Background in AI orchestration, workflow automation, or document intelligence

• Change management or digital transformation experience moving teams off legacy systems

• Experience at a company early enough that you built the process yourself

Why Ranger

You own the outcome that matters most. A signed deal is a promise. You are the person who makes it real, and whether a customer adopts, stays, and grows is yours.

Real scope from month one. You define how Ranger runs customer success in North America, on live enterprise accounts, and the person who does that well ends up owning the function.

You are the customer’s voice in the building. What you see across your accounts becomes what we build next.

Direct line to the founders. Daily work with the CEO, the Head of GTM, the Head of Product, and the FDE team.

Compensation that reflects the role. Base of $80,000 to $100,000 CAD plus variable tied to renewal and expansion, with accelerators above target. When your accounts win, you win.
