Who We Are:
FlyteHealth exists to help individuals living with obesity pursue healthier lives through chronic condition support and pharmacotherapy virtually via video conferencing and an engaging smartphone app. We leverage an in-house nationwide clinical care team including physicians, nurse practitioners, registered dietitians, and care navigators. We also partner with hospital systems, payers, and PBMs to expand their ability to reach more patients and provide broader obesity care support.
The Role
We are looking for a self-motivated and resourceful Clinical Data Analyst to join our team. You will be working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment where your expertise in data analysis, reporting, and operational insights will be essential in optimizing telemedicine performance and patient outcomes.
Job Responsibilities:
Clinical Data Management:
- Evaluate policies, procedures, and workflows to improve efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Serve as a data point of contact for telemedicine providers and staff, addressing operational issues, concerns, and supporting provider needs.
- Develop and implement best practices for data in relation to patient intake, telemedicine platform usage, and post-care follow-up.
- Other duties as assigned
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Pull, analyze, and interpret data reports from Athena to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as patient volume, scheduling efficiency, revenue cycle metrics, and provider productivity.
- Generate and share actionable insights from Athena data to support decision-making and improve practice performance.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on practice performance, patient trends, and areas of improvement.
- Analyze and interpret healthcare data related to patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that track key performance indicators (KPIs) for telemedicine services.
- Monitor trends in telemedicine usage, patient satisfaction, and provider performance, providing actionable insights to leadership.
- Develop and maintain predictive models and performance metrics to optimize operations and patient care.
Staff Management:
- Report data to administrative and clinical staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Financial Oversight:
- Collaborate with billing and revenue cycle teams to monitor financial performance.
- Use Athena-generated reports to identify and address billing or revenue cycle challenges.
Patient Experience:
- Ensure a patient-centered approach to care delivery, addressing concerns and enhancing the overall patient experience.
- Ensure the accuracy of information in FlyteHealth App and Athena are up-to-date to include appointment types, provider templates, and schedules
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Data Analytics, Health Informatics, Business Intelligence, Healthcare Management, or a related discipline).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare data analysis, clinical informatics, or healthcare operations.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance (e.g., HIPAA), and best practices in data management.
- At least 2 years of experience working with telemedicine data, analytics, or digital health platforms.
- Proficiency in Athena, with hands-on experience in generating and interpreting data reports.
- Advanced analytical skills, including experience with Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for clinical and operational teams.
- Experience working cross-functionally with clinicians, administrators, and IT teams to improve data-driven decision-making.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
