The Role:

As part of FlyteHealth’s growth, we are seeking an Assistant Controller to drive financial excellence and operational improvements. In this role, you will:

• Oversee financial transactions ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Manage month-end close processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Supervise the AP function.
• Prepare timely budgets and forecasts.
• Provide financial data for audits, reviews, and tax return preparation.
• Manage state compliance matters and ensure adherence to relevant regulations.
• Create and analyze financial statements.

About YOU:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred but not required with sufficient accounting experience.
• 3+ years of experience in progressive finance and accounting roles.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and state compliance matters.
• Proficient with systems and technology, with experience using at least two accounting software systems (e.g., Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Online/Desktop).
• Sage Intacct experience is strongly preferred.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with financial statement creation.
• Public accounting experience is preferred but not strictly required.
• Healthcare or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) experience is required.
• Quick learner with demonstrated adaptability in learning new systems.
• Confident in communicating financial matters to both financial and non-financial leaders.
• Goal-oriented with a desire for continuous personal and professional growth.
