Role:

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building the foundation that makes this possible. You will shape how patients engage with our product, adhere to their unique clinical program, and achieve their best clinical outcomes. The systems you develop will guide patients from when they are first introduced to our treatment model to everyday usage as they achieve their goals.

Your work will directly influence how patients receive the best treatment possible. As the company grows, the patient experience you help build will determine how well FlyteHealth can scale without losing clinical rigor, patient trust, or speed.

In short, this role matters because better patient experiences lead to better health outcomes at scale.

Responsibilities:

Build and Scale FlyteHealth’s Products:

• Design and maintain reliable, scalable features across our products
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to identify best solutions given situational constraints

Enable Patients to Achieve Their Best Outcomes:

• Learn how patients use our mobile application to suggest improvement opportunities
• Share ideas for AI-enabled workflows to make every patient interaction impactful
• Identify ways to unify cross-platform features for seamless experiences

Ensure Data Quality, Trust, and Compliance:

• Implement observability tooling to surface data for Product, Engineering, and other teams
• Build systems that are auditable, secure, and compliant with healthcare data standards (e.g., HIPAA)

You’ll Be Great in This Role If You…

• Have 2–4+ years of experience building production software systems
• Are fluent in modern web and mobile application stacks (React, React Native/Expo, Node.js/Express)
• Write clean and maintainable TypeScript/JavaScript code that scales
• Understand how to model most domain concepts to relational databases for both application and analytical use
• Are eager to learn and share knowledge
