ROLE OVERVIEW:

We're seeking a DevSecOps Specialist with 4+ years of experience, professional certifications (e.g., CCSP, AWS Certified Security), and a strong background in Azure cloud security. The role involves leading cloud security initiatives, embedding DevSecOps practices, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards, and enhancing IT security infrastructure. The candidate should excel in analytical problem-solving, driving security innovations, and mentorship, with experience in healthcare data security being highly desirable.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Professional Certifications: Possession of industry-recognized certifications such as Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), AWS Certified Security - Specialty, or equivalent. Additional certifications in Azure or related cloud services are highly desirable.

Experience: Proven track record of working in DevSecOps roles with strong experience in Azure cloud services. Experience in the healthcare industry or working with healthcare data is a plus.

Technical Skills: Expertise in implementing, managing, and securing cloud infrastructure, particularly in Microsoft Azure. Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar, with a focus on security configurations. Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) methodologies, automated security testing, and deployment strategies.

Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the courage to drive change and implement new security measures. Excellent communication and mentoring abilities to foster a culture of security awareness and best practices among team members.

Compliance and Security: Understanding of healthcare compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA) is a plus, and experience in conducting security assessments, vulnerability testing, and ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cloud Security Leadership: Assess Clearpol's current IT infrastructure and lead the digital transformation efforts towards a secure and efficient cloud migration, primarily on Microsoft Azure.

DevSecOps Practices Implementation: Establish and advocate for best practices and standards for DevSecOps methodologies within the company, ensuring the integration of security throughout the software development lifecycle.

Collaboration and Training: Work closely with the CISO/security advisors and cross-functional teams to integrate security controls and best practices. Organize training sessions and provide mentoring to enhance the team's capabilities in DevSecOps practices.

Security and Compliance Management: Evaluate and enhance existing IT and cloud infrastructure for security improvements, lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and automated cloud-based solutions. Ensure compliance with healthcare industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Monitoring and Incident Response: Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to maintain the security and availability of Clearpol's infrastructure. Develop and execute strategies for incident response and mitigation.

Policy and Documentation: Collaborate with stakeholders to define and enforce security policies and access controls. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for security processes, procedures, and configurations.
