Role Overview: Account Executive

We're searching for MULTIPLE experienced sales and account managers to drive new business and maintain/grow current accounts at this unicorn startup. Candidates need to present, promote and sell our products using solid value statements/arguments to existing and prospective customers. Perform any needed cost-benefit and needs assessment for existing or potential customers. Establish and develop/maintain positive business and customer relationships.

Skills required:

Strong sales experience, ideally in the healthcare sector, executive communication, sales and negotiating abilities.

This role reports directly to the VP of Sales. The full team is expected to increase the staff to 60 by EOY.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Seek out and land new deals with target accounts in our Ideal Customer Profile
  2. Qualify inbound opportunities sourced through events and marketing and pursue them as sales opportunities
  3. Engage with leadership and operational staff at target accounts to conduct in-depth discovery, present and demonstrate our unique product capabilities, build internal champions, understand the procurement process and negotiate commercial terms for customers to buy our software
  4. Develop quotes and proposals, negotiate contracts and ensure a strong handover of signed deals to the Account Managers
  5. Rigorously track your active pipeline and maintain accurate records of your activities
  6. Maintain a high quality of communication and be highly responsive to prospects
  7. Lead continuous improvements for sales, including understanding and tracking any lost sales and how to prevent those for future sales
  8. Demonstrate highly professional, ethical and quality conduct in keeping with the Clearpol principles
  9. Achieve comprehensive sales goals and performance measures that drive company revenue growth
  10. Gather and share competitive intelligence and other field learnings with marketing, product and executives so we can continuously improve our GTM effectiveness

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Administration, or a related field. MBA/MSc is a plus
  2. 3-5 years of experience in Account Executive or relevant role, preferably within the healthcare software or tech software startup environment, focused on acquiring new-logo mid-market or enterprise customers
  3. Experience scaling B2B SaaS software at early-stage companies from initial product-market fit through $10-20MM and beyond
  4. Proven ability to be an “evangelist” for new and exciting business software products ideally in the Healthcare space
  5. Ability to manage multiple complexities and tasks while thriving in a fast-paced startup environment
  6. Exceptional organizational understanding of the entire enterprise sales cycle
  7. Comfort in working with a founding team and eager to help build and scale new processes and assets
  8. Superior written and public speaking/verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to the full executive team to internal and external stakeholders as requested
  9. Exceptional organizational and understanding of the entire business-software sales cycle along with excellent sales process rigor and discipline
  10. Experience using CRM systems to track sales activities
  11. Ability to manage multiple complexities and tasks while thriving in a fast-paced startup environment.
  12. Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, Notion, Google Docs, and familiar with various project management tools. Significant familiarity with CRM software.
