IN YOUR NEW ROLE

As a Senior Paid Media Analyst, you will be instrumental in driving the success of paid advertising strategies across multiple brands. Your responsibilities will include sourcing and analyzing data from Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) and third-party analytic tools, as well as conducting custom analysis using Excel to uncover insights into brand performance. You will manage sponsored brand and display campaigns, optimize budgets, bids, and ad placements, and perform detailed analyses of audience behavior, path-to-purchase journeys, and conversion rates. Additionally, you will guide the PPC team on paid search efforts with a full-funnel approach and collaborate with stakeholders to support broader marketing initiatives.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Source and analyze data using AMC and third-party tools like Jungle Scout and Helium 10; provide custom Excel analyses, including data visualizations, to develop actionable insights into brand performance.
  • Build and manage campaigns, performing keyword, audience, path-to-purchase, and conversion rate analyses to optimize budgets, bids, ad placements, and ad unit types to meet or exceed KPIs while staying within budget goals.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
  • Stay informed about industry standards, best practices, and trends in Amazon and PPC advertising.
  • Support brand managers, new product development, and other teams with marketing initiatives.
  • Achieve traffic, revenue, ad spend, and ROI/ROAS targets, ensuring KPI benchmarks are met or exceeded while reducing customer acquisition costs.

TO BE THE BEST FIT FOR THIS ROLE YOU NEED

  • 3+ years of e-commerce experience as an analyst or manager within the Amazon ecosystem, for a D2C brand, or at an advertising/marketing services agency.
  • 2+ years of display account management experience (Amazon Sponsored Brand or Display preferred, though experience with Google Ads or Social Ads is also acceptable).
  • 1–2 years of Amazon DSP or Meta experience (preferred but not required).
  • Strong quantitative skills, a passion for data analysis, and working knowledge of paid media.
  • A deep desire to learn and acquire new skills in a company with a significant market opportunity.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and self-motivation skills, demonstrated through prior professional success.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment while thinking outside the box and prioritizing effectively.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment that values transparency and direct feedback.
  • A flexible, dynamic, self-motivated, and proactive personality, with the ability to motivate yourself and others.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • An excellent sense of humor.
