Warehouse Operations Manager
IN YOUR NEW ROLE
As our warehouse operations manager you will be the on-site liaison at one of our 3PLs located in Greenwood, Indiana. In this role, you will support our warehouse partner by overseeing the storage, distribution, and fulfillment operations for an e-commerce CPG company that specializes in FBA, DTC, and wholesale businesses.
This is a hybrid role; and you will be required to work on-site at the warehouse at least three days per week. The company is Los Angeles based so flexibility with working hours is necessary.
You will be expected to become a “Boosted” expert in both our company’s supply chain operations, and product knowledge across our brand portfolio.
You will be responsible for using your expertise to execute the following:
- Oversee and improve daily operations
- Train the warehouse team on our company’s internal processes and monitor compliance
- Ensure that all SLAs and KPIs are met
- Support the team on executing value-added services
- Manage our physical inventory and ensure proper care
Additionally, you will work alongside warehouse leadership and support them to effectively manage inventory, optimize warehouse layout and storage, enhance coordination related to shipping and receiving, and ensure timely order fulfillment across all business operations.
TO BE THE BEST FIT FOR THIS ROLE YOU NEED:
⁃ Strong Supply Chain / Operations background
⁃ 2+ years of experience working in a distribution center / 3PL.
⁃ Experience working in e-commerce and familiar with basic operations.
⁃ Familiarity with FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) operations
⁃ Experience in wholesale operations and distribution
⁃ B.A. in Supply Chain (preferred)
⁃ Knowledge of and experience using a WMS
⁃ Basic Excel skills
⁃ NetSuite experience highly (nice to have)
⁃ Six Sigma Certification ideal
