Senior Product Designer, Stealth Co.

Company: Stealth Co.
Role: Senior Product Designer (Full-Time)
Location: Flexible (US, preference for NYC)
Who We Are: We’re building the AI-native operating system for litigation. Today, legal teams face millions of siloed documents across PDFs, emails, and spreadsheets—making facts hard to connect and knowledge fragile. Our platform turns this chaos into knowledge graphs rooted in structured ontologies, compounding insights with every case. The result: faster strategy, stronger arguments, and a lasting edge in high-stakes litigation.
What You’ll Do:
As Senior Product Designer, you’ll own end-to-end design, from research to systems, ensuring Mason delivers experiences that are efficient, credible, and built for trust.
- Design for AI + Trust: Develop interaction patterns that communicate confidence, citations, and transparency. Define how users understand when to trust, question, or override AI outputs.
- Architect Complex Workflows: Design intelligent, intuitive experiences for search, filtering, annotation, and review of massive document sets. Create tools that balance individual productivity with team collaboration.
- Build a Scalable Design System: Extend Mason’s early UI patterns into a cohesive design system — defining tokens, accessibility standards, and component libraries that ensure consistency across dashboards and document views.
- Lead Usability Testing / Research: Conduct testing with litigators and legal teams, translate insights into product improvements, and establish frameworks for continuous usability validation.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work alongside engineers, product managers, and legal subject-matter experts to deliver thoughtful, high-quality product experiences.
- Define design guidelines, establish scalable workflows, and communicate design intent and trade-offs effectively across teams.
