About the Role
As the People Operations Manager, you will be the sole HR professional at Swap Health, responsible for building and managing all aspects of our human resources function. This role requires a hands-on approach to recruiting, onboarding, payroll, compliance, and culture development. You'll work closely with leadership to ensure our team is supported, engaged, and aligned with our mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, particularly for telehealth dietitians and other key roles.
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
- Manage candidate pipelines and coordinate interview processes.
Onboarding & Training
- Design and execute comprehensive onboarding programs for new hires.
- Develop training materials and programs to support employee development and compliance.
HR Administration
- Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS management through TriNet PEO.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
Culture & Engagement
- Champion Swap Health's values and foster a positive, performance-oriented workplace culture.
- Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives and events.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and leadership on HR-related matters.
Policy Development & Compliance
- Review and update employee handbook and HR policies as needed.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment and HR operations.
- Familiarity with PEO platforms, particularly TriNet, is a plus.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Compensation
- Salary Range: $100,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
- Equity: This role includes equity participation.
